gosh.. i haven't blogged in such a long time eh.. Why do i have time now? Cos its study break..haha.. supposed to be studying.. but hey.. isn't a study break meant to be a break from studying?? hahaz.. =)

the past 3 weeks have been freaking busy for me.. all the deadlines squeezed together.. There were some interesting interesting projs like the radio commercial, radio drama and studio recording.. all were great fun! And the doomed BMR proj is finally over.. phew..

i had this mock beauty pagent co-hosting thing with Debbie for my boradcast module.. wow.. we were like all dressed up la.. the girls looked gorgeous.. the guys looks handsome.. haha..Although the recodring was stressful.. cos we only had 2 takes.. still.. it was super fun! we went camera crazy.. just take a look at the pics! hahaz..

today's CCN day! yippie! haha

wad is CCN day? actually i'm not very sure wad it stands for also la.. ahha.. but its a fund raising event.. and there's no lesson from 12pm onwards.. it was a fun fun day! haha..

was helping out in the car wash for awhile.. it was fun.. got to meet some of the year ones.. like finally.. haha.. saw a few funky cars.. i'm like thinking 'boy, they're brave to let as wash the cars.. not scared we scratch it or smth ah? haha'..

When the traffic was lesser.. went to help xiao yuan with the multi cam printing stuff.. take a look at out front page! Awesome right?? haha.. i guess our next proj is revealed to the world le.. haha..

Spent like $20 on this proj manz.. quality paper.. lotsa ink.. gosh.. the things we do to get an A.. (oh yes.. we got an A+ for our prev proposal.. ahah).. we took like over an hour to get everthing printed la.. haha.. it was so funny.. hanging out with jon seto, andrea, jarrett.. jon is damn funny la.. just look at his pic with jarrett..
while waiting for the stuff to print.. we formed a Jarrett Fan Club.. Hui Qing's the prezident, i'm the vice-prez, andrea's the quarter master, Bhavna is the treasurer, Crystal and Cheryl are the honourary members.. wahah.. and guess what? jon seto is the 1st lady! haha.. la-dee-dum!

After printing.. went to bind.. then sorta walked arnd alil.. got bombarded by pple selling us stuff.. jarrett and i bought tarts from ee lin.. he wanted to buy pizza.. (we all didn't have lunch la).. but in the end didn't.. den headed to the CMM band.. the Jarrett Fan Club screamed for Jarrett to play and sing.. haha.. it was damn funny.. he was blushing like mad.. and we, hte groupies, were just going mad for the fun of it.. haha.. So he did.. with Owen on vox also.. Aloy on drums, Adam and Krystal on guitars.. haha.. it was good! Jon See and James also sang other songs.. they're good.. and there were year ones playing also.. haha.. CMM kids are really talented pple..

After handing up the work.. went to look for Angel.. to just walk arnd.. i think Business and Design School are the most happening places la.. hahaz.. i bought a crepe with butterscotch ice-cream from HTM.. yum!

had to rush home cos had to go attend prayer mtg.. but turns out.. i was too damn tired.. wanted to rest for awhile.. but in the end slept till 9pm.. hmmm.. still doing work now..

Tmr's island mania! yay! really hope my group wins.. haha.. i need the MP3 player.. ahha.. we'll see how it goes..

i have a bet with Calvin.. cos apparently i thought Kai ling was gonna be in our group.. but he heard it was Chai Ling.. So whoever is wrong has to treat the other person lunch! But i'm sure i'm right la.. haha.. free lunch! yay!

Ahhhz.. next week is gonna be hellish la.. got like 3 deadlines this week.. and a pair hostins with debbie for broadcast.. damn damn nervous.. cos we haven't really practiced.. gosh.. God help me.. Have to design the posters for sports club also.. stressed stressed!!

Oh well.. gotta get back to work.. pple pls pray for me!!

woosh.. half of the week just flew by! Its wednesday already!

Afew updates!

Last Thurs: Was at Sonic Fest '05 in the evening.. at fortcanning.. imagine enjoying great music and God's presence under the stars.. yep.. its was a clear night with little patches of clouds floating by. Terry couldn't make it in the end.. But thankfully Ying Hui was free.. if not the $20 tix would be wasted..

He came from home after school.. met him first den went to PS to meet val.. poor gal wasn't feeling v well.. but after dinner she felt dandy.. =) When we reached the place.. the vibes there were good.. One Authority was playing Bitter Butterfly when we were walkin up the hill of fortcanning.. *pant pant* haha.. The sun was just about to set.. and by the time we sat down on the lush slope, OA was playing its second last song.. the last song (can't remember the title) was quite emo.. haha.. talked about the last moments of Jesus when he hung on the cross.. Kev played a lil of the keyboard.. not bad.. ahah.. den there was one part where it was relatively silent and you could hear a heartbeat sound.. den Josh read from a passage in the bible.. was quite moving.. until it ended a lil abruptly cos their time was up.

Up next was Surreal.. by that time ade and grace came to join us.. Jon was somewhere out there.. we went to check out the merchandise instead.. cos we heard Surreal at Baybeats anyways.. hahaz.. Val got her Vertical Rush Shirt, i got a WMUM dry-fit shirt and Ying Hui got a shirt that all of us wanted but it only came in men's sizes.. sigh.. oh well.. haha.. we spent so long 'shopping' that by the time we went back to the main stage.. Surreal was endning their set.. Jon wasn't feeling too good.. so he sat by the stairs.. poor boy.. but the rest of us just moshed with the rest of the crowd as Planet Shakers led us into high praise and worship! It was fantastic! There was even a time of sharing and testimony by the lead singer.. Smth diff from the prev SFs.. which was good.. =) Was quite tired by the end of it.. ended arnd 1030.. It was a great day..

Fri: had cell at Val's house.. yays! lots of food manz.. yummlicious food.. cooked by everyone (mostly the gals la.. haha) we had a great time of fellowship and sharing and lotsa fruits for dessert! yums! After helping Val clean up the place.. i stayed over cos going home from dover was seriously too far! Ate lots manz.. *burp!*

Sat: Met up with Ade at SF.. went to look arnd for awhile.. den helped YH to change the size of his shirt.. then went to Bras Basar to get decor stuff for later while Ade went to church first for drum lessons.. Went to church at 430.. had a wonderful music prac! wow.. really wow.. haha... after which did some decor for tmr's event! wow.. so many photos to put up.. but i think our effort was worth it.. cos it really looks good! The banner looks the best! Had dinner at the hawker with everyone after that.. at like 9pm! They had char kway teow.. oooo.. oily stuff! but i only had poh piah and tea.. cos was feeling kinda heaty.. *cough cough*

SUNday!: YupZ! ITs THE day! The Sing For you event! yay! Overall.. it went pretty well.. despite some gliches here and there.. had about 70 people in Room #308.. Jackie came.. but unfort Debbie wasn't feeling well.. so she didn't turn up in the end.. Was glad to see new faces.. shi wei brought his brother.. boy.. they really look alike! haha.. I'll upload thoes pics soon! real nice stuff! haha.. Wow.. now i realised there are many talented songwriters in church.. i'm impressed.. i'm inspired..

Monday: Another exciting exciting day!! Our second recording.. Our show title is The Metrosexual.. and Val came down all the way from Dover to help us! Thanks babe! Emily was our director this time.. tho she was a lil nervous, She did pretty well.. i think i have the best Multi-cam group! yays! haha..
Val was a natural.. She was the make-up artist.. showing the 'viewers' (target audience - men) how to look better with some make-up on. You must be going.. eeeewww.. make up on guys?? But seriously.. our model looks quite good with make up on.. and its actually quite minimal. Like conceealer to cover up blemishes, foundation, trim and neaten eyebrows, bronzer/blusher to give the sunkissed look and a lil lipgloss to brighten up those kissable lips! haha.. it was fun.. and yes.. cutie pie Jarrett was our modell.. after a few practices.. he got quite used to the whole routine.. haha.. he's such a sport! Wish i had pics of his made up face to show.. ahha..
I think our whole program was a success! And i think our next one would be too.. we already have an idea for the entertainment prog.. its still under wraps.. but it'll be revealed soon.. its brilliant! haha..

Tues: Can't remember wad i did.. tho i think i didn't do well for my radio production.. sobs.. we'll see the grade next time..

Wed: yes today! i'm quite happy cos i got a wonderful A for my fashion design proj! yays! My dear yong hao also got and A thanks to his persistent calling and asking me how to do.. hmmm.. i wonder how jovin did.. heez.. but anyways.. i'm happy!!.. Next proj will be a collection of 6 on Dolce & Gabbana.. exciting stuff! haha..

Tmr gonna do the stupid SPSS (for those who don't know wad that is.. its actually keying in all the data from my group's 200 surveys).. for BMR.. tedious stuff manz.. but after school.. we'll be visiting Shawn.. the poor guy had gone thru an Op.. and have MC till 22 Aug.. we'll be entertaining him for awhile.. ahah..
oh yes.. and i'm finally gonna be meeting up with Sharu and another guy to discuss the Sports Club stuff.. hope they're nice to me and dun give me a ton of work to design.. haha...

okies.. off to bed now.. tmr's a brand new wonderful day!

oops.. was like 15 mins late for BMR lect today.. overslept.. haiz.. Tried to understand the lect.. but still not v clear about certain areas.. Ms Chua ended the lect early.. so andrea and i went to do our surveys.. i've left about 20 more to do! yay!

After that went to meet the Sports Club prez at 1pm.. sharu.. they're looking for a graphic designer and photographer.. i guess its an interesting thing to do.. since i dun have any cca anyways.. haaz.. would like a challenge.. :) it was a good meet.. apparently he likes my work.. and asked me to join the sub-comm.. and their camp.. i got a few days to consider.. heez.. really want this post.. but have to see if i have time to commit to this.. hmmm.. *pray about it*..

Bumped into sugar on the way to lunch.. haha.. see you tmr manz!

Met carissa for lunch.. den so happened jovin was sitting on the table beside mine.. asked him and his friends to do da survey.. haha.. yay! had a good talk with cat again.. heez.. love that gal to bits..

aft that had fashion design cds.. its was fun! haha.. my grp had to design men's street wear.. Yong Hao and JOvins' drawings are so cute la.. haha.. we did an army theme.. i think not too bad la.. heez.. just take a look at the pics.. haha..=D

Now i'm home.. editing the multicam script again..

hmmmm.. just heard keng Tzu's mom passed away this morning at 2am.. i'm quite saddened.. altho i'm not really close to her.. i just feel sad knowing someome lost her mom.. i can't imagine life with our my mommy.. i love you mom.. Some of us sending a wreath tmr to the wake.. hope its some sort of comfort to her.. yups..

it has been a pretty good week for me so far.. although i'm still up to my neck in projs and stuff.. but its not too bad a week.. handed in my BMR critique.. have to do like 250 surveys by this week.. someone help! hahaz..

hmmm.. i realised smth.. i'm actually enjoying my lessons! Year 2 has been refreshingly hands on compared to last year.. i love multi cam and audio productions.. Broadcast is quite fun too! Taking fashion design for CDS.. which is kinda like a hobby to me.. the only thing i don't really like is BMR.. haha.. but i have pretty good project mates.. so its alrights la..

Multi Cam.. yes.. this is interesting stuff.. i really enjoyed being a director.. being a camera woman was pretty cool too.. there's so many things i wanna master in this module.. i think working behind the scenes in the recording studio is cool stuff! i bed single cam next term would be more challenging.. The next recording is coming up on monday.. 1st Aug.. We'll be doing a segment of a show called The Metrosexual.. yep.. the 7 min segment will show how guys can use makeup to improve they way they look. Its nothing surprising for guys to use makeup nowadays.. but i do personally still prefer au naturale.. haha.. Our lucky model would be cutie pie Jarrett.. haha.. i think he's kinda nervous about being our model.. he tried to back out of it a few times.. but nope.. we think he suits the image.. haha.. whats more he got a new hair cut which shows off his nice warm eyes.. which i think would look really good on screen.. Val would be the make-up artist.. haha.. really hope things turn our alrights.. quite worried cos our director emily is currently sick.. suspected to have dangue.. she's gonna check it out tmr.. but really hope nuthing bad happens to her..

hmmm.. i think so far Audio pro is my best subject.. Got straight As and a B for my assignments so far.. i'm quite surprised actually.. haha.. cos i dun think i have a raido voice.. and sometimes my pronounciation isn't really fantastic.. but i guess i have an okay voice.. haha.. but like mrs nah said.. having a good voice isn't everything.. is how i use it and accompany it with the music or advertisement.. I love audio pro.. gets my creative juices going.. haha.. but i have much more to learn.. Can't wait for the advanced version in sem 2.. oh yes.. and during the 2 mths hols i'm gonna be involved in producing some segments for LUSH FM.. cool stuff eh?

Tmr Mr Daryl David's gonna critique our Stand upper in class.. kinda nervous about it.. had so many takes before i could come out with a perfect one.. haha.. Last week we played around with the autocue for newsreading in the studios.. it took awhile to get a hang of it.. but seen reading the news on screen my class pple say i'm quite telegenic??!! i'm like.. err.. really meh? haha.. maybe its the makeup and really good lighting.. haha.. well.. we'll see..

Its gonna be a real busy weekend coming up.. Have to come up with a script for multi cam by tmr.. Thurs i'll be at Sonicfest 05 at fortcanning with Val, ade and terry.. anyone wanna join us?? Kev's band One Authority would be playing also.. along with other cool bands - Planet Shakers and SonicEdge.. Tix are at $20 but i may be able to help ya get discounts.. heez.. the fest is running from thurs to sat.. yup.. call me if u wanna go..

Fri there's cell at Val's place.. a more relaxed sorta fellowship this time round.. and i'm gonna be staying over at her place! yay! some quality girlie time! haah..

Sat: Hopefully be able to swim at her place in the morning.. then head down to church in the aft to prepare stuff for the event on sunday..

yeps.. another week is gone.. i hope i'll use it well.. heez.. tired tired tired.. off to do work!
