woosh.. half of the week just flew by! Its wednesday already!

Afew updates!

Last Thurs: Was at Sonic Fest '05 in the evening.. at fortcanning.. imagine enjoying great music and God's presence under the stars.. yep.. its was a clear night with little patches of clouds floating by. Terry couldn't make it in the end.. But thankfully Ying Hui was free.. if not the $20 tix would be wasted..

He came from home after school.. met him first den went to PS to meet val.. poor gal wasn't feeling v well.. but after dinner she felt dandy.. =) When we reached the place.. the vibes there were good.. One Authority was playing Bitter Butterfly when we were walkin up the hill of fortcanning.. *pant pant* haha.. The sun was just about to set.. and by the time we sat down on the lush slope, OA was playing its second last song.. the last song (can't remember the title) was quite emo.. haha.. talked about the last moments of Jesus when he hung on the cross.. Kev played a lil of the keyboard.. not bad.. ahah.. den there was one part where it was relatively silent and you could hear a heartbeat sound.. den Josh read from a passage in the bible.. was quite moving.. until it ended a lil abruptly cos their time was up.

Up next was Surreal.. by that time ade and grace came to join us.. Jon was somewhere out there.. we went to check out the merchandise instead.. cos we heard Surreal at Baybeats anyways.. hahaz.. Val got her Vertical Rush Shirt, i got a WMUM dry-fit shirt and Ying Hui got a shirt that all of us wanted but it only came in men's sizes.. sigh.. oh well.. haha.. we spent so long 'shopping' that by the time we went back to the main stage.. Surreal was endning their set.. Jon wasn't feeling too good.. so he sat by the stairs.. poor boy.. but the rest of us just moshed with the rest of the crowd as Planet Shakers led us into high praise and worship! It was fantastic! There was even a time of sharing and testimony by the lead singer.. Smth diff from the prev SFs.. which was good.. =) Was quite tired by the end of it.. ended arnd 1030.. It was a great day..

Fri: had cell at Val's house.. yays! lots of food manz.. yummlicious food.. cooked by everyone (mostly the gals la.. haha) we had a great time of fellowship and sharing and lotsa fruits for dessert! yums! After helping Val clean up the place.. i stayed over cos going home from dover was seriously too far! Ate lots manz.. *burp!*

Sat: Met up with Ade at SF.. went to look arnd for awhile.. den helped YH to change the size of his shirt.. then went to Bras Basar to get decor stuff for later while Ade went to church first for drum lessons.. Went to church at 430.. had a wonderful music prac! wow.. really wow.. haha... after which did some decor for tmr's event! wow.. so many photos to put up.. but i think our effort was worth it.. cos it really looks good! The banner looks the best! Had dinner at the hawker with everyone after that.. at like 9pm! They had char kway teow.. oooo.. oily stuff! but i only had poh piah and tea.. cos was feeling kinda heaty.. *cough cough*

SUNday!: YupZ! ITs THE day! The Sing For you event! yay! Overall.. it went pretty well.. despite some gliches here and there.. had about 70 people in Room #308.. Jackie came.. but unfort Debbie wasn't feeling well.. so she didn't turn up in the end.. Was glad to see new faces.. shi wei brought his brother.. boy.. they really look alike! haha.. I'll upload thoes pics soon! real nice stuff! haha.. Wow.. now i realised there are many talented songwriters in church.. i'm impressed.. i'm inspired..

Monday: Another exciting exciting day!! Our second recording.. Our show title is The Metrosexual.. and Val came down all the way from Dover to help us! Thanks babe! Emily was our director this time.. tho she was a lil nervous, She did pretty well.. i think i have the best Multi-cam group! yays! haha..
Val was a natural.. She was the make-up artist.. showing the 'viewers' (target audience - men) how to look better with some make-up on. You must be going.. eeeewww.. make up on guys?? But seriously.. our model looks quite good with make up on.. and its actually quite minimal. Like conceealer to cover up blemishes, foundation, trim and neaten eyebrows, bronzer/blusher to give the sunkissed look and a lil lipgloss to brighten up those kissable lips! haha.. it was fun.. and yes.. cutie pie Jarrett was our modell.. after a few practices.. he got quite used to the whole routine.. haha.. he's such a sport! Wish i had pics of his made up face to show.. ahha..
I think our whole program was a success! And i think our next one would be too.. we already have an idea for the entertainment prog.. its still under wraps.. but it'll be revealed soon.. its brilliant! haha..

Tues: Can't remember wad i did.. tho i think i didn't do well for my radio production.. sobs.. we'll see the grade next time..

Wed: yes today! i'm quite happy cos i got a wonderful A for my fashion design proj! yays! My dear yong hao also got and A thanks to his persistent calling and asking me how to do.. hmmm.. i wonder how jovin did.. heez.. but anyways.. i'm happy!!.. Next proj will be a collection of 6 on Dolce & Gabbana.. exciting stuff! haha..

Tmr gonna do the stupid SPSS (for those who don't know wad that is.. its actually keying in all the data from my group's 200 surveys).. for BMR.. tedious stuff manz.. but after school.. we'll be visiting Shawn.. the poor guy had gone thru an Op.. and have MC till 22 Aug.. we'll be entertaining him for awhile.. ahah..
oh yes.. and i'm finally gonna be meeting up with Sharu and another guy to discuss the Sports Club stuff.. hope they're nice to me and dun give me a ton of work to design.. haha...

okies.. off to bed now.. tmr's a brand new wonderful day!
